Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose


So much changes and so much doesn't in property marketing!

As I look back over the countless brochures, boards, hoardings, advertising campaigns, marketing suites, events and stunts that have been designed, arranged and organised to promote the new offices and homes that I have been privileged to have a hand in developing and promoting, I am awestruck anew by the visual creativity of those whose graphic skills have made this all possible.
Martin Ebdon at Lines Group in Gloucester is the latest in a series of designers who have turned ideas and concepts into effective property marketing campaigns of merit. Alan Vine and Tony Monteuuis at Ashdown in London were first in this long line that then extended abroad to Rolf Andrae of Andrae Design in Frankfurt and then back to Tim Carrington at Armstrong Design in Harpenden and our neighbour Paul Millard at Alchemy Creations in Stevenage.
Alan Vine’s recently announced retirement has prompted this nostalgic journey down memory lane. I wish him all the best as he channels his creativity into newer even more rewarding pursuits.
