Moravian Place Bath

“In March 2011 I wrote:

Our plans for the conversion of the former Moravian Church in Coronation Avenue by Construction Total Solutions of Bath ( see http://www.c-t-s-ltd.com/index.html ) are to create 11 exclusive contemporary apartments by the end of 2011. Prices will range from £175,000 to £250,000. Private secure parking and impressive views towards the lovely countryside surrounding the City are just two of the features which these apartments, located in a quiet long established residential suburb, will offer.

All apartments will have the very latest fully equipped designer kitchens ( see http://www.mayflowergroupuk.co.uk/ ) and Swiss bathrooms (see www.laufen.com ). The palette of materials for the floor coverings includes timber, ceramic and broadloom carpet finishes.

Work on site has already started.”

Today sees the completion of the last sale. Seven months after completion of construction works we celebrate success and move on the another project in Bath.

What did we learn at Moravian Place? That construction on a restricted and steeply sloping site is an unpredictable challenge. That agents and purchasers find it difficult to think in 3 dimensions. That some builders are blessed with incredible depths of diplomacy.  That local agents are kings in their own market. That lawyers are only as good as the person at the end of the phone. And that sales only really get going when buyers can see what they are buying!

Thank-you CTS for a great job and thanks to all who contributed to the success of the project.”
