Minimise road trips, live in town.
Sustainability seems to be the name of the game now that we have moved well and truly out of the 'noughties'. (Are we now in the ‘teenies’?) More and more people I speak to are keen to minimise their road trips to the library, park, shops, wetlands, beach, woods, health centre, hospital. It seems that people just don't care for their cars any longer and that civilised town life is making a come-back. Of course, the town has to be the ‘right’ sort of town. Bath has got its plus points - but it also has its hills - so being the right side of the Avon is also important. A home that we sold in 2008 for less than £800,000 in the centre of Bath is now on the market for £1m! That's not bad annual growth in a static market! It's a gorgeous home.
